What if we did choose the lessons we wanted to learn in this lifetime. We all have our pain, anger, and baggage in life, the things that were done to hurt us by others. Situations where people have injured us, invalidated us, or made us feel inferior or unloved definitely create damage. However, while it is difficult to accept these painful experiences, they have also helped to shape and form exactly who we are at this moment in time.

Your soul, that part of your being which knows no time or space, sees the higher perspective of the events that transpire in your everyday life. Our spirit minds, free to express themselves while we sleep, are intimately familiar with agreements already formed. The agreements between souls who enter your life for certain growth lessons or experiences in which you agreed to participate; those meetings are predestined, but their outcomes are not. The outcomes depend on the choices you make. So as we go along through life, the energies exchange and intertwine with each other in a dance of experimental existence...

What is to be taken from this, is that mixture of joy tinged with sadness. For beauty is always sad as well as joyful, is it not? The joy of being in beauty and wonder, tinged with the sadness of its ending, for all is change and movement, and We Rise and We Fall.

As I try to hold in mind the idea of sacredness and the divine origin of things, I find that often it's carried away on the winds of my thoughts. Sometimes, though, something inside surrenders, lets go. At such precious times, instead of my holding the idea of the divine, the divine holds me.

Life Giving Truths...

I write with the desire and intention that my words give a touch of light, wisdom, and love in your life… Sit back, relax, grab a cup of coffee let the warmth permeate your soul, awakening your senses, your inner self. Opening a doorway, a doorway where all our knowledge is stored. We have always had the knowledge, just not the full effect, yet…

These unrelenting and intense times help us build spiritual strength by showing us our weak spots. It isn't just the adversities of life we must face, but also those inside of us. We're here to test our inner essence. Sometimes it can be overwhelming, either doing our best to steer through it and go along for the ride, or get swept away from it all, sometimes feeling that it is too much no matter how hard we fight… So we pick up the pieces of our lives and superglue them back together, and go on waiting for the wounds to heal...

If we look at our life in one fell swoop, it can be very daunting. There are times when life urges us to seek more… It's about what's going on in our hearts. About seeing clearly the way life is and accepting it and being true to it, whatever the pain. Reality is the only other thing (Besides faith) we have that can possibly nourish hope. Hope is not based on the ability to fabricate a better future; it is grounded in the ability to remember with new understanding…Our memories are the only things we have that prove to us that whatever it was we ever before thought would crush us to the grave… had actually been survived. Looking back we know now that this hard road was really the journey that brought us at least one step closer to wholeness in a world in which wholeness can never really exist. Because we fail to see the life-giving truths that come to us one fragment at a time...

We stand at a plateau of all that was, looking at how far we have come at this moment in time. We stand straddling the past and the present wanting so much to move into the future away from what still nips at our heels, away from what we still owe and what still owes us, away from the wounds of the past...

We look up to the Heavens, breathing down the strength to take the next step, the next journey, the next thought wondering, shall I overcome this fear, this obstacle, this limitation, in this short life. Holding on to what we know to be truth even though everything around us shifts and changes, and sometimes crumbles, as the road curves ahead to place we can not see.

It is time for us to peek in to all that is a possibility. It is time to allow our self to explain what it is our heart really needs, what it is that our humanness is so afraid of, and what it is that the divinity within asks us to have the courage to do.

We weren’t designed on a whim or sewn together like Raggedy Ann or Andy. We were designed on purpose, with purpose. We designed this life, this desire, this love, and this sadness.

Deep inside our heart we still believe in the magic of life. We need to believe that peace comes one moment at a time, that light is birthed one thought at a time, that the heart heals one hurt at a time.

Within the realm of all possibilities is where we sit, where we pre-design, and re-design. Within this realm is where we breathe, where we think, where we believe. We hold the key to every doorway within all existences… We hold the keys to the ups, the downs, and the in-betweens of the staircase of self.

We need to release all that does not fit into the future that we seek from the bottom, the top, and the center of our hearts for we must believe for it to be birthed, and then as an ocean that knows no beach, it will loose it boundaries, it will loose its shores and it will become more.
